Telling Stories in Cape Town

Rabbit Hole – a Play Reading at the Masque Theatre 5 – 7 April 2018.

And so it is done and dusted.  It was an amazing experience for us – from the director, Coleen van Staden of Circle Productions, right down to the SM, lighting and FOH – but especially our performers and the audiences who came to experience what we had to offer.  A staged playreading is not done that often and we are incredibly proud of what we achieved.  Visit our facebook page and you will see some super comments there from audience members.

Here is a pic of the whole gang…..     and some rehearsal shots too.  We want to do it again soon.  Keep an eye on our NEWS!

Patron’s had this to say:

“To you all CONGRATULATIONS and a big thank you for giving me such an enjoyable evening. Coleen your direction was brilliant and to the whole cast, you delivered beautifully. Anybody who loves theatre and missed this production is much the poorer for it”

Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire – Play Reading

Opening Thurs 5th April – Three performances only.  Circle Productions brings a new performance genre to the Masque Theatre – a play reading full of energy and movement that takes the audience on a journey into the lives of a family coming to terms with a tragic loss.

Bitter and angry confrontations, as well as tenderness, gentle humour and hope, play out in this empathetic look at a family interrupted.  This spirited and intelligent play-reading by a talented cast of five brings home the down-to-earth honesty of the play.
